Stefanie Burgmaier

has been Managing Director of Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH since January 2017. The business school graduate is primarily responsible for magazines, digital platforms and events aimed at engineers and managers in the automotive, energy, financial services and materials technology sectors. Before the trained journalist joined Springer Nature in 2013, she worked in various positions for the former Handelsblatt publishing group and Gruner + Jahr.

Juliane Ritt

has been Managing Director of Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH since January 2017 and, as Executive Vice President German Language Science Publishing (GLSP), is responsible for Springer Nature’s German-language book program, which is published in Wiesbaden, Heidelberg, Berlin, Stuttgart and Vienna. The studied classical philologist has 30 years of international publishing experience and has been working for Springer since 1995.

Joachim Krieger

is Managing Director Education and Professional of Springer Nature. The business school graduate is not only responsible for the strategy for the Wiesbaden services for working professionals, but also for the services Springer Nature offers to players in the international education and training sector as well as in the German- and Dutch-speaking healthcare sector, in the transport industry and in international transport training. Joachim Krieger started more than 20 years ago as Publishing Director at Heinrich Vogel Verlag, which today belongs to Springer Fachmedien München GmbH.

Volker Hesedenz

has been in charge of the Media Sales department since January 2016 and, in addition to classic advertising sales, is responsible for sales of customer-specific communication solutions in the print, online and conference business. He is a member of the SFW Professional management team. The graduate in business administration has been working in the publishing industry for more than 25 years. In various positions, he was responsible for advertising sales for publishers in the B2C and B2B segments. The sales professional has been working for Springer Fachmedien in Wiesbaden for over eight years.

Head of Marketing + Sales
Jens Fischer

has been Head of Marketing + Sales since January 2016. In addition to selling digital licenses for the Springer Professional database and the international e-magazines, he is also responsible for participant marketing for the event business and subscription marketing for the trade magazines. He is also a member of the SFW Professional management team. Before training as a PR specialist, Jens Fischer studied forestry and environmental sciences. Before the sales and marketing specialist joined Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden in 2008, he had already worked for nine years in B2C publishing houses.
